Easter Day Fun

We had a wonderful Easter day! Around 9:30A, we left for Sunday School and followed up with regular church service. The Mixed Ensemble (which included Candy) sang a special and sounded very good! Once the preaching started, Preacher was on fire; he was so energetic! He also found out that his doctor referred a young couple to visit our church! He thought that was a true work of God. The couple got saved and both were baptized! Since I (Mark) have attended HBC, I haven't heard of such a referral.

Once church dismissed, Mom, Candy, and I spent the afternoon hours at the Knutson's home for lunch and fellowship. While Jeremy and I were tending to the grilling of the barbeque chicken, hot dogs, and keilbasa, the ladies and children were having fun inside awaiting all the good food that was going to be served! We had everyting: chicken, hot dogs, green bean casserole, corn, keilbasa, mashed potatoes, and even a pomello (spelling is uncertain). For dessert, we had a variety of cheesecakes, sugar cookies, chocolate cookies, cookie cake, and kiwi. Following the feast, we spent a few hours talking, playing with nerf toys, and having great fellowship. Everyone had a blast!

We concluded the day with evening church. We are so blessed to have countless friends through church that we can all visit. Usually, twice a week, we have something planned with someone! It's definitely a wonderful feeling to be loved like that! The events are always something to look forward to!

The Robinsons hope that everyone had a safe and fun Easter Day!

Until next time.......

Answer to prayer

We heard the heart beat, saw the baby squirm around and saw the heart beat today! What an awesome experience! We got a few pictures too. This is such a huge answer to prayer! GOD IS SO GOOD! I was so overjoyed and started to tear up when I heard the heart beat. All I kept saying was thank you God, thank you God, thank you God! My doctor was completely shocked and really thought that the appointment would about telling us to a d&c because of the ultrasound 2 weeks ago not showing a baby and the blood test results not being so positive. We told him that we had a bunch of people praying. Thank you all for praying for us and our baby. Please continue to do so. I'm right on schedule as we first thought-9 weeks and have a due date of October 19th. Thanks again for your prayers, please keep us there. We boldy ask God for one more day! Until next time......God is good! All the time!

Mom visits for weekend

My mom is going to be in the Richmond area this weekend visiting a family friend. She'll arrive around midday Saturday and leave Sunday. She's attending a craft show during the day and then meet Candy and me for dinner this evening. I don't know if she'll be here to attend church tomorrow since she brought her two dogs with her. Pray for traveling mercies to Richmond and back home this weekend.

It's been since mid-December since we've seen Mom. However, she will be visiting again Easter weekend. Two weekends in a row and we're very excited to be able to spend time with her.

Until next time.....

Sick AGAIN!!!

For the THIRD time in 35 days, Candy is sick. This time, the feelings are similar to the first time of feeling ill; body aches, sore throat, cough. We don't know if this is contributed to her being pregnant but Candy is "getting sick of feeling sick". She had her first official bout of morning sickness today. She made it through the day at work without leaving early, though she had convinced me that she was coming home.

All in all, pray that she begins to feel better.

Until next time.......

Pray for us

We found out on Valentine's Day that I am pregnant with our first child. It's been an exciting but nervous time for us both. I had my first ultrasound on the 4th and the doctor was concerned with what he didn't see. I thought I was further along than what the ultrasound actually showed. Either it was too early to see anything or the baby has stopped growing. I had bloodwork done on that same day and two days later to see if my levels were rising like they should. We got news on Friday that my levels are increasing but not doubling completely like they should. With those results, the doctor said that there is a small chance of this being a normal pregnancy. I have another ultrasound scheduled for the 18th. We know that God is in complete control and we are trusting in His grace and power during this unsure time. Please pray for us and our baby. We would greatly appreciate it! Until next time....God is good! All the time!
