Abigail is 6 months old today

Where does the time go? I can't believe Abigail is 6 months old today. We are truly blessed with a wonderful, happy and healthy baby girl. Thank you God! Teething has been the norm the last month or so. Such a drooly baby! We have to change her bibs a couple times a day. She amazes me with all the new things she is experiencing. From smacking her hands on the table to grabbing things and scratching her fingers on it to hear the sound it makes. I love to just sit and watch her learn. We are truly grateful that she has been sleeping through the night for 3 months now. She even can be put to bed without being asleep and she will go to sleep on her own. What a blessing! Thank you to everyone who prays for us. Please continue! Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Abigail's 6 month check up

Abigail went to the pediatrician today for her 6 month checkup. She is 16lbs 13 oz (75% range) and 27 inches long (95% range). The pediatrician said she is continuing to do great. Thank you God for a healthy, happy baby girl! Poor thing had to get 3 shots today. She didn't cry as bad as last time but it still broke my heart to hear her cry in pain. I hate seeing my little one hurt! The pediatrician said that we should continue with the cereal and a vegetable baby food in the evenings. We should also start to give her cereal and a fruit baby food in the mornings. When her appetite is up for it, we will do a fruit and vegetable baby food for lunch too. That means Mark will be doing more of the feeding during the week since he stays with her during the day. I know he will do a great job. He's an awesome father. Abigail seems like she's going to be a daddy's girl. Our baby girl is growing up so fast! Thank you all for praying for us. Please continue. I'll take some more pictures and/or video soon and post them. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Visit from Nonni and Papa

We had the pleasure of having my mom and dad, aka Nonni and Papa, come up for a visit this past weekend. It was great having them here. I know Abigail enjoyed it. She sure loves her Nonni and Papa! We definitely wish the visit could have been longer and that we lived closer to our families. Thank you Mom and Dad for taking the time to drive the 5 hour trip to come see us! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

He is Risen!

Matthew 28:1-10

[1] In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
[2] And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
[3] His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
[4] And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
[5] And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
[6] He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
[7] And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
[8] And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
[9] And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
[10] Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

Abigail's first Easter

Here are a couple pictures of Abigail in an Easter outfit that Mrs. Virginia at church gave us. She also has a My First Easter bunny and bib that my secret sister gave us. Thank you both! You can see Abigail's two teeth coming in if you click on the bottom picture. We will post pictures of Abigail in her Easter dress tomorrow. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Another tooth coming in!

We noticed today at lunch that Abigail is getting a second tooth. It is coming in on the bottom right front. Drool and fusiness continues! :) Abigail tried her first baby food this week. Sweet peas were not a big hit. Poor thing gagged every time I put some in her mouth. We had to wash it down with formula before she would even attempt to eat her cereal. I guess we will try something else in 3 days. Maybe sweet potatoes. :) Please enjoy the videos. She is definitely more interactive with her hands and feet. She loves the lay & play and she loves to kick her feet. She's definitely our little "Thumper". We are excited for Abigail's first Easter. We will post pictures in her Easter dress later. Please keep us in your prayers. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

A couple of firsts

We are excited to let everyone know that Abigail has her first tooth breaking through her gums! I discovered it when I got home from work lastnight. I thought I saw something on her bottom gums and I felt with me finger and sure enough she has her first tooth coming in on the bottom left front. She's been drooling like crazy the last week or so plus a little more fussy than usual. It is so exciting share another one of Abigail's firsts. She also was talking a lot lastnight and she used the "M" sound for the first time. The funny thing is that she said "ah ma ma ah". Belle and I looked at each other because we both realized she said something very similar to mama. We know she doesn't know what it means yet but it was pretty neat to hear it. She continues to scoot around in her crib. Mark found her legs dangling from between the side bars a few days ago and took a couple pictures. We've learned not to give her a blanket in her crib anymore because it always seems to end up wrapped around her neck or head. We definitely don't want her to suffocate! Enjoy the videos and pictures. Please continue to pray for us. Until next time...God is good! All the time!
