Spring Portrait

Abigail's pre-school had their Spring portrait day today. Each student got to hold a real live bunny and then take a class picture. Abigail was very excited to go to school today! Can't wait to get the portraits back!

She was so excited!

Sick little girl

Seems like Abigail is getting sick more often now that she went into pre-school. She missed two Mondays in a row from being sick. One Monday was because she had been vomitting and the next Monday was because of a fever. We took her to the doctor on Monday, 2/13 since she had vomitted a couple times over the weekend. The pediatrician said it was just a virus. Please pray that she stays healthy! By the way, her stats show that she just keeps growing. Her height is 38" and weight is 33.4 lbs.

On the way home from a baby shower. She threw up 2 minutes later.

Someone's feeling better.

Valentine's Banquet

Mark and I enjoyed our time at our church's annual Valentine's Banquet. The theme was 1940's. There were quite a few couples that dressed up. We even heard real life war stories from Mr. May, a WWII veteran. The meal was delicious and the games were a blast. It is always refreshing to be around good Christian friends!

Sushi

A few weeks ago, we had a much needed night out with two of our favorite families, the Knutsons and Pam & Billy. We met at Lin's Asian Bistro. All the grown-ups except for Angie and I ordered sushi. I was enjoying my sweet and sour chicken but Mark and Pam kept after me about trying the sushi. It was took some convincing but I did try it. I could barely swallow it but did. Tasted like the bottom of the ocean...yuck! Angie was coaxed by Jeremy and Pam too but she didn't swallow it. I'm pretty sure that I never try it again. We did have some entertainment for the night, Abigail was being silly and was able to hold a pen with her nose. :o)

Sushi--yuck!

Silly girl!

Abigail's 1st day of Pre-school

Abigail started pre-school today at Clover Land Pre-School. It is a church ministry out of Clover Hill Baptist Church. Our pastor's wife and a few ladies from church teach there so we knew that she would be in good hands. 1st drop-off was a success! Abigail was a little teary when we left home but did great when we went into her classroom. She was quick to make friends. Her teacher, Mrs. Wallin, was so nice. We are so thankful for a good place for Abigail to make new friends and learn!
