Just wanted to share a few pictures of our cats. They are brother and sister and definitely two peas in a pod! I'm so glad we got them both. Enjoy the pictures!

Sunday Night Tekken Showdown

Last night, Candy and I visited Angie and Jeremy's house for Sunday Night Tekken Showdown. We thought that we could test our Tekken ability against two pros: Angie and Jeremy. Shortly into my first match against Angie, I realized I didn't bring my "A" game. Come to notice, I kept losing throughout the night! On the other hand, Candy was "holding her own". At one time, she had won 11 matches in a row before she was dethroned! I was so happy for her since it wasn't that long ago that she claimed she "didn't know where the 'X' button was located" on the controller. :)

All four of us had a great time and many of us (not me) finished with sore fingers from intense button-pushing!

That's all from our front. God is good...ALL the time!

I just became a Tekken player! I am not much into video games but I was introduced to Tekken late Saturday night at Angie & Jeremy's house and now I'm hooked! Mark and I bought the game for a good price on Sunday and have played at least 30 rounds since! I'm getting better at it. The first time I played I didn't even know which player I was and I still won! :) Where's the X button? LOL! Anyways, just thought I would share my new interest. Angie, Jeremy, Mark and I will have to have Tekken night soon! :) Hope everyone has a great week. Until next time.....God is good! All the time!

Mark's Job Status

Earlier this week, I found out that I was hired-on by UPS from temporary status. I will be working part-time hours but nonetheless, I won't be under a cloud of doubt anymore. I still have been working anywhere as early as 3am and until 9am daily. It meant a lot for me since this is my first manual labor job. Thank you to all who have prayed for me. I love you all!

New Year's Eve at Hyles Baptist Church

Happy New Year's everyone! Candy and I spent New Year's Eve at Hyles Baptist Church. We had a night full of singing songs, playing games, eating great food, and having outstanding fellowship. Seventy people turned out to spend their evening at church, as well. We had a wonderful time and can't wait until next year! From our family to yours, happy New Year! And until next time.....
