Pray for Abigail

Abigail has been sick the last few days. The nights away from home were very rough and we got very little sleep. She has a runny nose and has been a little more fussy but her cough is the worst. Poor thing. I so hate to see my baby girl sick. On the way back from Elizabeth City on Friday afternoon, we set up an appointment with the pediatrician just to make sure we knew what we were dealing with and what we could do for her. Her lungs sounded great, her ears looked great and her weight was good too (17 lbs 12 oz). The pediatrician said she had a cold and really the only thing to do for her was to use the nasal spray and aspirator (aka the bulb), incline her bed and use a humidifier. It was suggested to keep her away from other babies so we knew the church nursery would not be an option. We definitely missed being at church today. Please pray that this will clear up quickly.
