We dedicated Abigail to the Lord at church this morning. She was very well behaved while Preacher held her. We ask that God keep a hedge of protection about her and to use her for His glory. Thank you God for blessing our home with a wonderful, healthy, happy baby girl. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us. We ask that you continue please. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

More vocabulary
Abigail has added some more sounds to her vocabulary. Take a look at the video. Sounds like she's got the "D" sound down pat now. Is she saying "Dada"? Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Abigail is 7 months old
Where does the time go? Our baby girl is 7 months old today. Abigail has developed a lot this month. Sitting up with little to no support and rolling over from her back to tummy were great accomplishments for her in May. She has gotten much better at tummy time too. We are so thrilled to watch her experience all these "firsts". Thank you all for praying for us. We are truly blessed with a happy, healthy baby girl. Thank you God! Here's a picture of Abigail's first bubble bath tonight. She was very tired so I didn't get the best smile but she is still so cute. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

It's official
We found Abigail rolled over (from her back to her tummy) in her crib twice this morning. However, we haven't caught her doing it yet but I did take a picture before her morning nap and one after. As you can see, she scooted 180 degrees. :) She's still not a big fan of being on her tummy so she let us know both times by crying out a little more than her usual "I'm awake and I want someone to get me" cry. This is another exciting step in Abigail's growth. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

4 years ago today....
4 years ago today, I received an email from Mark on match.com. This started the ball rolling. Our first date was on July 22, 2005. Then as all may know, we were married August 19, 2006. So today is actually a very special day for us! It's our 33 month wedding anniversary. Thank you God for directing our paths together. We are blessed. Until next time....God is good! All the time!

Pray for Abigail
Abigail has been sick the last few days. The nights away from home were very rough and we got very little sleep. She has a runny nose and has been a little more fussy but her cough is the worst. Poor thing. I so hate to see my baby girl sick. On the way back from Elizabeth City on Friday afternoon, we set up an appointment with the pediatrician just to make sure we knew what we were dealing with and what we could do for her. Her lungs sounded great, her ears looked great and her weight was good too (17 lbs 12 oz). The pediatrician said she had a cold and really the only thing to do for her was to use the nasal spray and aspirator (aka the bulb), incline her bed and use a humidifier. It was suggested to keep her away from other babies so we knew the church nursery would not be an option. We definitely missed being at church today. Please pray that this will clear up quickly. Until next time...God is good! All the time!
Quick trip to Winchester
Mark and I took a quick trip to Winchester on Saturday. It had been since Christmas 2007 since we had been up there to visit Mark's brother and his family. Mark's mom was there visiting also so we tried to surprise her but that didn't quite work out. Oh well! We had a great lunch and spent a couple hours enjoying each other's company. Mark and I are truly grateful for a wonderful family. Thank you God for blessing us with such a supportive and loving family. Enjoy the pictures. Until next time...God is good! All the time!
Mother's Day 2009
Mark and I went to my grandma Bray's house in Elizabeth City, NC for Mother's Day this year. It was good to see my side of the family but it was also a sad time since Aunt JoAnn had passed away the day before. We had a cookout and spent most of the day under a huge shade tree in Grandma's front yard. We were blessed with great weather. Being able to spend my first Mother's Day with my healthy happy baby girl, my wonderful husband and most of my side of the family was a true blessing. Thank you God! Enjoy the pictures. Until next time...God is good! All the time!
Aunt JoAnn
Please continue to pray for our family in the loss of JoAnn Bray on Saturday, May, 9th. She was sick for several years but spent the last two months in the hospital. She would have been 55 in the summer. The memorial service was on Thursday and it was very comforting to know that she was saved. The minister who led the service did a good job in expressing how much she wanted everyone to know Jesus as their Saviour just as she did. I have many fond memories of my aunt JoAnn. Each family gathering especially Thanksgiving and Christmas will be much different without her being there. We are sad to not have her with us but we are rejoicing that she is with our Saviour in no more pain. Please keep my uncle David, and cousins April and Corey in your prayers during this difficult time.

Visit from Grandpa Bill and Grandma Donna
We had the pleasure of having Mark's dad and stepmom come down for a few hours on Saturday. It is always great spending time with family. We really wish that we lived closer to all of our family because we are blessed with the best! Thank you to every one in our family for loving and supporting us so much. Until next time...God is good! All the time!
Abigail sitting up
Here is a video that we took of Abigail on Friday night. She's getting a lot better at sitting up on her own. We still have to give her some support with our hand behind her back or with her pillow. It amazes me how much she is growing! We are truly blessed with a wonderful, healthy and happy baby girl. Thank you God! Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Until next time...God is good! All the time!
