Abigail is 11 months old

Time sure does fly! Our little pumpkin is 11 months old today. I can't believe she will be a year old in a month! I hope to have all of her 1st birthday party plans complete soon. Abigail is growing up so fast! She is getting real good at pulling up and standing. It amazes me to see our little girl experiencing all the "firsts". Thank you God for our miracle! We are truly blessed to have a beautiful, happy and healthy baby girl. Thank you to everyone who prays for us, please continue. Enjoy the video that was taken tonight before she went to sleep. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Look who is standing

Abigail is starting to pull herself up. This picture was taken earlier this week. Mark helped her stand up and went to get the camera. She was still standing when he got back. I witnessed her stand up twice by herself tonight by pulling up on the entertainment center. Before too long she will be walking around! Please pray for Abigail. She has been sick with a cold all week along with tooth #8 breaking through. Mark is also sick with a sinus infection. Please keep us in your prayers. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

The Dunnings

Here are pictures I copied from my sister-in-law's facebook page. I couldn't resist! What a beautiful family! I so wish we lived closer. Enjoy the pictures! Until next time...God is good! All the time!

West Virginia Ladies Meeting

I was able to go to the ladies conference at Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church in Martinsburg, West Virginia last weekend. Thank you, Belle, for taking care of Abigail while I was gone. The theme was "Treasures Under the Sea" and the decorations were amazing. I drove up Anige and Caitlyn and had a good time with the ladies from our church. The speakers were great. The messages were very motivating. They made me want to be a better Christian, wife, mother and friend. The last speaker was Bro. Owens. It was very special for me because 13 years to the day, Bro. Owens preached the sermon "Don't Go to Hell from Hyles Anderson College". That was the day I got the assurance of my salvation. The message that Bro. Owens spoke at the ladies meeting was about being appreciative of all that we are blessed with and all that God has provided. Here are a few pictures from the weekend, and a video of the end of the conference (15,000 balloon surprise). Enjoy! Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Happy Birthday Candy!

I want to wish Candy, my wife, a happy birthday! This morning, I took Abigail to visit her at work around 10:45a and brought her two bouquets of flowers. Less than an hour later, the three of us went to lunch together. Once Candy got off work, I asked her to meet us at Olive Garden. Once she arrived, I had 31 red and pink roses in a vase sitting on our table along with a card from Abigail, one from me, one from my mom, and one from my dad/stepmom. We had a very enjoyable dinner; I hope that she did as well.

Candy is a charismatic, loving, thoughtful, dedicated, and nourturing wife, mother, and best friend. Abigail couldn't ask for a better mother. We love her very much.

Thank you for all that you do for us, hun. We love you! Enjoy your evening!

August Happenings

Sorry that it has been so long since our last post. It has been a very busy few weeks. Thank you to all who prayed for the blood test that Abigail took at the beginning of the month. Everything came back normal. Praise God!

We had the pleasure of having Mark's mom visit the first weekend of the month. We are blessed to have Mark's side of the family within 2 hours of us. Any visits are welcomed! Here's a video that we took that weekend. Gotta love a clean baby!

For the second week of the month, I had the pleasure to chaperone the 3-5 year old boys class in Vacation Bible School from 6:30-8:30 Monday thru Friday. Wow, they were a handful! I had an average of 5-8 each night and with the help of Julie, the week was a success. This year the theme was Group's Rome: Paul and the Underground Church theme, and it was great! We had a good turnout of about 100 kids. I definitely enjoyed watching the kids see the Bible stories come alive when they visited Paul every night in "jail". Thank you Julie for all your help! Thank you Angie for putting this all together, I loved the setup and schedule!

For the third week of the month, we finally went on our annual vacation. It was long overdue! Since Getloaded no longer has the Sandbridge condo, we decided to spend the week with my parents. What a great week! It took us about 4 hours to get there and Abigail was such a good traveler. We were a little concerned that Abigail would not sleep well since she would not be in her own crib. Thankfully she did great the whole week! Praise God! It was a blessing to spend the entire week with my parents. Mom is so good with Abigail and put her to bed most of the week. She's got that touch! Abigail tried lots of real food during the week. I think her favorite of all she tried was the bread pudding :)We traveled about an hour to visit with my brother's family for a couple of hours on Tuesday. It was so good to spend time with Thomas, Rachel and the girls. Mark and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on Wednesday. It has been a wonderful 3 years. I can't wait to spend many many more years with such a good man. Mark is such a loving, hard working and compassionate husband and father. Thank you God for allowing our paths to cross. My mom watched Abigail while Mark and I went out for our anniversary lunch at Chili's. We also went shopping at the local mall and were able to get some great deals on clothes for Abigail. We all went to the Winston-Salem Dash baseball game Wednesday evening. Free tickets, free food, free entertainment, time with family=priceless. We traveled about 30 minutes to visit with my nana (my dad's mom) for an hour on Thursday. Please pray for her health and for her to make right decisions. We spent the rest of the weekend hanging out with mom and dad. It was definitely a great week! Thank you Nonni and Papa for having us!

We discovered over the weekend that Abigail is getting her 7th tooth. She is growing up so fast! She has been trying to pull herself up and stand the last few days. Enjoy the pictures. Until next time...God is good! All the time!
