Well, we've made it through week one of "Daddy day care". If you didn't already know, due to some changes with Mark's jobs and the lack of hours, we had to make some decisions to help keep us afloat. Mark's last day at UPS and Abigail's last day at daycare was on the 20th. Mark was able to go on full time at Kroger working the graveyard shift (11p to 6a or 7:30a). He takes care of Abigail during the day, sleeps a little throughout the day when Abigail naps and then he gets about 4-5 hours of sleep when I get home from work. I am so thankful that Mark is such a hard worker. God blessed me with a great husband! Although Mark and I don't see much of each other during the week, we are able to spend our weekends together. It has been a major adjustment but we know it's for the best. Please pray that Mark gets enough rest, that our marriage grows stronger every day and that Abigail continues to be healthy and strong. Enjoy a couple of videos that we have taken in the last couple of weeks. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Recent video of Abigail
Here's a video we took of Abigail Tuesday night. Sorry it took me awhile to post it. Enjoy! I can't wait to get a video of her laughing. She did a bunch of laughing tonight before she went to bed. Maybe next time we'll get her to do it on video. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Abigail's first cold
Our poor little Abigail has had a cold since last Wednesday morning. She's been stuffed up, sneezing and coughing. She had a slight fever for a day. Thankfully she has still been eating well. We thought that daycare would probably send her home so we called reinforcements. Grandma Belle came up on Sunday and has been watching her while Mark and I go to work this week. What a blessing! Abigail is getting better but still has a nasty cough. It kept her up a lot Sunday night but she got a real good sleep last night. We are blessed with such a wonderful baby. Even though she's been sick, she has kept her happy disposition. Please continue to pray that she heals quickly and completely. Here's a couple pictures from tonight's tummy time and with her "pillow". Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Spoke too soon
Unfortunately, I spoke too soon about Abigail not getting sick. She woke up very congested this morning. I used the nasal aspirator and got some mucus out before I took her to daycare. Poor thing. Daycare said she sneezed alot today and didn't act like her usual happy self. Mark put her in her crib a little before 4:00 this afternoon and she's still sleeping...5 hours later. We bought some Baby Simply Saline tonight to use with the aspirator. That and using her humidifier (which is on all the time) is really all we can do for her since she is still so young. Mark will be taking care of her tomorrow since he is off from Kroger. Please pray that she feels better quickly and completely! Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Abigail is 3 months old
Abigail is growing up so fast! She will be 3 months old tomorrow. It's amazing how much she has changed. Mark and I have both noticed a few things about our little girl. She favors sucking her left thumb. We don't like the idea of her sucking her hands or fingers but we often catch her with her left thumb in her mouth and we quickly take it away and insert her favorite pacifier. She's smiling alot more and talking (jibber jabber as Mark likes to call it). I got her to laugh for the first time this weekend. Mark witnessed it. It's so exciting! She has been sleeping through the night for 11 nights in a row. Thank you God! She started right before I went to work. Which by the way, leaving her at the daycare last Monday was the hardest thing that I've ever done. Thank you Mark for coming with me that morning. You are a great husband! Abigail still isn't a big fan of tummy time. She is supposed to get a minimum of 30 minutes throughout the day in daycare. From when she's with us, she does ok the first 5 minutes but gets mad after that and I just can't stand to see my baby girl get so upset. We are grateful that she has not gotten sick especially since Mark and I have been sick recently. Thank you God! Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Enjoy some recent pictures. Until next time...God is good! All the time!
