HBC Mother-Daughter Banquet 2012

Belle, Abigail and I had such a good time at the Mother-Daughter Banquet, Rise and Shine, at church tonight.I'm so proud of Abigail for singing with me in front of all those ladies. There were 90+ in attendance. Pam did a fabulous job with putting everything together and Angie did a really great devotion. I'm so thankful that I get to be a part of such a wonderful church family! We went to Kings Dominion for my company picnic. This was Abigail's first time at an amusement park. It was hot but we had alot of fun. Abigail rode alot of rides with my manager's daughter, Laura Jo. Enjoy the pictures.

Abigail still has a pretty bad cough but she'll be going back to preschool in the morning. Please continue to pray the pneumonia/cough goes away quickly and completely and that she stays healthy.

Poor little Abigail. She didn't seem herself yesterday morning at church. Fever, cough and she says her tummy hurts. No preschool for her today. We took her to the doctor. Her pediatrician was concerned about Abigail's cough and said her throat was red and irritated and lungs sounded raspy. She's got a mild case of pneumonia. Test for strep came back negative. Please pray the antibiotics work quickly and that she feels better soon.

Today is a special day for us. 7 years ago today, Mark and I met on match.com. This was the beginning of our wonderful life together. Thank you God for directing our paths together. We are blessed!

RIP Nemo

Abigail's fish, Nemo, died tonight. Considering this is her first experience with death, she took the news better than we expected. Let's hope the next fish lasts longer than a week!

It was "Goldfish Sunday" for the kids yesterday at church. Abigail was so excited to bring home a goldfish. She quickly named it, Nemo. We bought a small tank on the way home from church and got it all set up. Let's hope he doesn't die too soon. Of course if he does die, we'll be sure to get a new one.

Happy Mother's Day

Abigail made a couple a things for me at pre-school for Mother's Day and also signed a card for me. I'm one proud Momma! Thank you God for allowing me to be Abigail's mom. She lights up my life! Thank you God for allowing me to be Nancy Dunning's daughter. She is a great role model for me. I am blessed!

Mark has been able to pass down the tricycle he rode when he was little to Abigail. Although there were bouts of crying and frustration today, she's almost got the hang of pedaling and steering.
