Where does the time go? Our little Abigail is 5 months old today! What an amazing little girl she is! We are truly blessed with a wonderful baby. She continues to sleep through the night which is a blessing in itself. Mark is such a good dad and takes care of her while I work during the day. She'll be a daddy's girl for sure. She is doing better at eating her cereal. We will introduce baby food soon. Another new experience we are excited to watch her go through. We are working with her to sit upright on her own. She is still wobbly though. Abigail continues to squirm around in her crib and when she's playing on her back. She can almost roll over from her back to her belly. She should conquer that soon. She is doing better at tummy time. As you can see in most videos, she always has happy feet. She's our little "thumper". Abigail is definitely a happy baby. Unless she is tired or hungry, she is smiling or talking. Her hair is coming in some and is a light brown. Her eyes are still a slate blue. I see a small difference in color around her pupil. Mine are like that too. My eyes are brown around the pupil then green on the outside. Maybe hers will stay blue like Mark's or maybe they'll be hazel like mine, only time will tell. I feel like she's grown alot the last few weeks. I'm anxious to see how much she weighs at her six month checkup. Enjoy the pictures and videos. Keep us in your prayers. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

What's new?
We finally started Abigail on rice cereal this weekend. It was funny to watch her taste it for the first time. Most of it dribbled down her chin. :) She wasn't sure what to do but soon realized that she was supposed to swallow. Of course, she hasn't gotten the complete hang of spoon feeding yet but she has done really well. I am so proud of how much she has grown and developed these last few weeks. She has started to scoot around in her crib. We place her in one spot and when we get her up in the morning or from a nap, we find her completely turned 90 degrees. We purchased a 3 stage musical play set on sale for her this weekend. It has stages for Lay & Play, Tummy Time and Sit & Play. She really enjoys laying on her back and batting at the toys with her hands and feet. Oh, speaking of feet, Abigail has discovered her feet. It is so cute to see her grab and hold on to her feet. She hasn't tried to put them in her mouth yet but I'm sure that will come soon. We really need to work with her at the tummy time because she hates it so much. I don't know why she gets so upset when she is on her belly. I keep telling myself and her when she is crying hysterically that this is what she needs so she will build her muscles for crawling. It breaks my heart to see her get so upset. Hopefully the new play set toys will distract her while she is on her belly. If anyone has suggestions, please let us know! Enjoy the pictures and video. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

This is God. Today I will be handling All of your problems for you. I do Not need your help. So, have a nice day.
I love you. And, remember... If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do Not attempt to resolve it yourself! Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. I will get to it in MY TIME. All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now. Should you decide to send this to a friend; Thank you. You may have touched their life in ways you will never know!
Now, you have a nice day.

Abigail's 4 month checkup
Abigail went to the pediatrician today for her 4 month checkup. She is 14lbs 4 oz (50-75% range) and 24 1/4 inches long (50% range). The pediatrician said she is doing great. As soon as we walked to the back, she started fussing like I've never seen her do. It's almost like she remembered her last appointment when she had to get shots. Poor thing had to get 5 shots today. She cried so hard. I cried a little too. I hate seeing my little one hurt. She was surprisingly a happy baby when we got home as you can see in the pictures. The pediatrician said that we can start her on cereal whenever we would like. I'm excited to start this new chapter with Abigail. Soon after she gets used to the cereal, we can start her on baby food. Veggies first then the fruits. Wow, our baby girl is growing up so fast! Thank you all for praying for us. Please continue. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Snow!
Here are a couple pictures of the snow that Mark took from our patio today. We measured it as high as 10 inches on the ground. I was brave enough to go in to work today. Thankfully they closed early and will open a couple hours late tomorrow. The roads were really bad when I went in at 7am but were pretty clear when I went home at 3pm. Please pray for everyone's safety! Until next time...God is good! All the time!
