Spoke too soon
Unfortunately, I spoke too soon about Abigail not getting sick. She woke up very congested this morning. I used the nasal aspirator and got some mucus out before I took her to daycare. Poor thing. Daycare said she sneezed alot today and didn't act like her usual happy self. Mark put her in her crib a little before 4:00 this afternoon and she's still sleeping...5 hours later. We bought some Baby Simply Saline tonight to use with the aspirator. That and using her humidifier (which is on all the time) is really all we can do for her since she is still so young. Mark will be taking care of her tomorrow since he is off from Kroger. Please pray that she feels better quickly and completely! Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Abigail is 3 months old
Abigail is growing up so fast! She will be 3 months old tomorrow. It's amazing how much she has changed. Mark and I have both noticed a few things about our little girl. She favors sucking her left thumb. We don't like the idea of her sucking her hands or fingers but we often catch her with her left thumb in her mouth and we quickly take it away and insert her favorite pacifier. She's smiling alot more and talking (jibber jabber as Mark likes to call it). I got her to laugh for the first time this weekend. Mark witnessed it. It's so exciting! She has been sleeping through the night for 11 nights in a row. Thank you God! She started right before I went to work. Which by the way, leaving her at the daycare last Monday was the hardest thing that I've ever done. Thank you Mark for coming with me that morning. You are a great husband! Abigail still isn't a big fan of tummy time. She is supposed to get a minimum of 30 minutes throughout the day in daycare. From when she's with us, she does ok the first 5 minutes but gets mad after that and I just can't stand to see my baby girl get so upset. We are grateful that she has not gotten sick especially since Mark and I have been sick recently. Thank you God! Please continue to keep us in your prayers. Enjoy some recent pictures. Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Last week day of maternity leave
I can't believe today is my last week day of my maternity leave. The last 12 weeks have flown by. My heart breaks every time I think about having to drop my little Abigail off at daycare Monday morning and head back to work. Please pray for me to have strength, peace and comfort when I drop Abigail off at daycare. Also pray for Abigail's safety and for her to continue to be healthy and strong. Enjoy the pictures of Abigail. Her new thing is sticking out her tongue. She is just the cutest ever! Until next time...God is good! All the time!

Abigail's 2 month checkup
Our little girl is growing up so big! As of today's checkup, she is 23 1/2 inches long (75%-90% range), 11 lbs 8 oz (50% range) and her head is 15 1/2 inches around (50% range). Compare that to her 2 week checkup: 20 1/2 inches long, 8 lbs 3 oz, and her head at 14 1/2 inches around. The pediatrician said that Abigail is perfect. Thank you God for a good report! Abigail had to get 5 shots and a liquid immunization. Poor thing cried so hard. My heart was breaking while they poked my baby girl. She's sleeping now and may even miss a meal because of the shots (which is quite normal according to the pediatrician). The next time she goes back will be for her 4 month checkup. Thank you all for praying for us. Please continue to do so. Until next time...God is good! All the time!
